Parker Arizona is located along the Colorado River. The town is named after Ely Parker who was a Commissioner of Indian Affairs. Parker served as a railroad stop over in the early 1900’s. Early commerce included mining and agriculture. Parker Dam was built in 1928.

The area offers a great outdoor and vacation environment with the Colorado as it’s main attraction. The 16 mile ‘Parker Strip’ offers boating, fishing, skiing along with RVing, off-roading and camping.
