Salt River Field

Salt River Field at Talking Stick is the new home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies. Located on the Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, the Salt River Field was built to attract the two Spring Training teams that were still playing in Tucson. This is the first spring training site to be located on Native American land.

The new $100 million dollar facility sits on 140 acres at the eastern edge of Scottsdale, Arizona. The facility boasts 12 practice fields, both major and minor league clubhouses and state of the art training facilities. The site should be popular with seating for 11,000 fans, it’s panoramic views of the mountains, shaded lawn seating and easy access.

Salt River Field is easy to access as it is served by major valley freeways: I-10, I-17 and both Loop 101 and 202.
